Bold, lush, and full-spirited, Stella’s designs are distinguished by an extraordinary commitment to artisan craftsmanship. Stella earned her bachelor’s degree from Drexel University and was selected for the prestigious fashion program at the SACI School of Art in Italy. A defining milestone in her career came when she became the first Puerto Rican woman designer to present her collection as part of the official New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center, sharing the official Fashion Week platform with internationally renowned designers such as Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, and Oscar de la Renta. Nolasco went on to achieve this distinction on multiple occasions, further establishing Puerto Rican fashion on one of the industry’s most important international stages. She has also presented her work in Paris and other major fashion destinations.

Throughout her career, Stella Nolasco’s collections have been carried by prestigious retailers such as Neiman Marcus in the United States, as well as by exclusive boutiques in Texas and international markets including France, Italy, Japan, Dubai, Qatar, Spain, England, and Australia. This global reach has positioned her work far beyond Puerto Rico and introduced her distinctive design language to clients across multiple continents.

Her designs have been worn by an impressive roster of internationally recognized women, including Alicia Keys, Beyoncé Knowles, Eva Longoria, Laverne Cox, Issa Rae, Ednita Nazario, Juliette Lewis, America Ferrera, Dascha Polanco (Orange Is the New Black), Kelly Reilly (Sherlock Holmes), Katie Lowes (Scandal), and Kristin Maldonado of the Grammy Award-winning group Pentatonix. Stella has also collaborated with Hollywood actor and fashion designer John Malkovich on his line, “Technobohemian.”

Most recently, Stella Nolasco was selected as one of the ¡HOLA! Latina Powerhouse Top 100, representing Puerto Rico among an extraordinary group of influential Latina women recognized for their achievements, leadership, and impact.
